Compatibility with solar power
The BXC-B can be integrated with solar self-consumption installations to charge the electric vehicle directly with the energy generated by the photovoltaic panels, reducing the charging cost to virtually zero during sunlight hours.

Frequently asked questions about the BXC-B wallbox
What’s the difference between the 7.4 kW and the 22 kW model?
The difference is the charging power and the type of electrical installation required. The 7.4 kW works with a single-phase installation (the most common in homes) and charges a 60 kWh vehicle in around 8 hours. The 22 kW requires a three-phase installation and reduces that time to under 3 hours, although the vehicle must accept AC charging at 22 kW.
Is it compatible with my electric vehicle?
Yes, thanks to the integrated Type 2 connector it’s compatible with all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids on the European market, including Tesla, Volkswagen, Renault, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes and all other manufacturers.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes, it has adequate protection for outdoor installation, withstanding standard weather conditions. Refer to the technical datasheet for the specific IP rating of this model.
How much does it cost to charge the car with this wallbox?
At off-peak rates (approximately €0.10/kWh), charging a 60 kWh vehicle costs around €6 for a full charge. If combined with your own solar power, the cost can be reduced to virtually zero during the day.
Do I need to carry out any works to install it?
No works are required. Installation only involves fixing the unit to the wall and connecting it to the electrical panel via cable. A certified electrician can complete the installation in just a few hours.
