The Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) system automatically adjusts the charging power based on the home or business consumption, preventing the main breaker from tripping and optimising the use of available energy.
Advantages of the three-phase charger over single-phase
- Up to twice the charging speed (22 kW vs 7.4 kW)
- Ideal for high-capacity batteries (60-100 kWh)
- Greater efficiency in existing three-phase installations
- Shorter full overnight charging time
- Ready for the latest generation of electric vehicles
Integration with the Bexie energy ecosystem
This charger can be combined with our solar self-consumption systems, hybrid inverters and storage batteries for a fully integrated and self-sufficient energy solution.
Frequently asked questions about the three-phase 22 kW charger
What’s the difference between the 11 kW and 22 kW charger?
The difference is the charging power. With 22 kW you charge twice as fast as with 11 kW, although your vehicle must accept three-phase charging at 22 kW to take full advantage of it. Check your electric vehicle’s specifications.
Do I need a three-phase installation at home to use this charger?
Yes, as a three-phase charger it requires a three-phase electrical installation. If you only have single-phase, it can operate at lower power or you’ll need to upgrade the installation.
Is it compatible with all electric vehicles?
Yes, through the Type 2 connector it’s compatible with most electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids on the European market.
Can I charge using solar power?
Yes, the BXC-P is compatible with photovoltaic installations. With the DLB system, it can prioritise the use of solar energy to charge the vehicle, reducing the charging cost to virtually zero during the day.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes, it has IP54 protection, which makes it suitable for outdoor installation, resisting water splashes and dust.
