Photovoltaic refurbishment at Adarsa (Mercedes-Benz)
At the Adarsa (Zamora) facilities, Bexie Energy, in collaboration with its partner Masnorte, carried out a complete refurbishment of an existing photovoltaic installation that presented serious deficiencies.
During the initial inspection, multiple critical issues were detected:
- Installation on a fibre cement roof (asbestos-containing material)
- Water leaks inside the building
- Wiring and protection systems not compliant with regulations
- Damaged solar panels with low performance
- Significant electrical safety risks
Due to the condition of the installation, a full-scale intervention was required, practically starting from scratch.
The project included:
- Complete removal of the existing system
- Roof replacement
- New wiring and protection system
- Fully renewed photovoltaic installation
