Over 50 kWp of architecturally integrated solar energy in the heart of the city
Bexie Energy, in collaboration with its installation partner Masnorte Energía Renovable, has successfully completed a major photovoltaic project for a residential community located in the center of Oviedo, Asturias.
This project demonstrates how solar energy can be efficiently integrated into dense urban environments while maintaining architectural harmony and delivering long-term energy savings.
The installation features more than 50 kWp of installed capacity, composed of 120 photovoltaic modules and managed by a 50 kW Bexie three-phase inverter, providing reliable renewable energy generation to support a significant portion of the building's electricity demand.
One of the most challenging aspects of the project was its location in the city center, where architectural and aesthetic requirements were particularly important. To ensure seamless visual integration, all-black photovoltaic modules were installed together with a black mounting structure, creating a discreet and elegant rooftop solution.
